LOTW-Letter O with Filia By: Siobhan aka Stella

It seems like just yesterday I was doing the Letter of the Week (LOTW) curriculum with Tert. Now I'm doing it with Filia! She absolutely loves it.
To see our very first LOTW post, click here. This amazing preschool curriculum was only $15. I purchased it off of a blog called Confessions of a Homeschooler. To purchase this curriculum, click here.
It involves a LOT of cutting, but a lot of the curriculum is non-consumable. I had barely any cutting this year, because I saved almost everything from when I did it with Tert. I have everything labeled in ziplock bags. If you'd like to see previous LOTW posts, click on the LOTW label on the top left of our blog.
This week's post is a little late, and we are starting on the letter O, because we missed a few weeks of LOTW photos when we were without a camera.
Now, on to the pictures...
For Scripture Memory, we use Sing the Word from A to Z. This week our verse was:
Psalm 89:8

First Filia practiced writing letter O's on my chalkboard. She loves this chalkboard, and we bought some non-dust chalk to go with it.
Next she did her floor numbers. I called out a number, and she jumped to it.
Next she did an 'O is for Octopus' coloring page
Filia loves Do-A-Dot markers! She was thrilled when Mom bought her these Do-A-Dot Shimmer Markers!
Next she did an Octopus Puzzle
So proud :)

I also had her practice the letters and memory verses she has already learned.
We also played a 'How Many?' game. I put a certain number of octopus on the game board, and she put the corresponding number card on the number square.
Filia's favorite part of the week is when we read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom and add our letter to the coconut tree. I will have photos of this next week!
