I went on a fun trip to a Felicity program and they have a Library program at the Huntsville Library. So I went to learn about Felicity and it was a lot of fun!! They have a American girl Library program every month and this month was Meet Felicity. So we learned about what they did in Felicity's time period, the games, sewing, and all of the fun stuff that they did!! One of the first things that we learned about was they balanced books on there head to test there good posture, so if the book stayed on that meant that they had good posture and if the book fell off then that meant that they still needed to work on their posture. And then we learned about another thing that they did it was one of the games that they did, so what they would do is there were two players and they each got two sticks and then they would have a little hoop that they would throw to each other the person who was throwing would cross there stick like a X and then the other player just keeps their sticks strait and then they throw it to each other each taking a turn throwing. So that was the game that we learned and after that we learned about hats that they wore and we sewed a bow onto the outside of the hat and they wore the hats so that no dust could get in their hair or else that would get it all dirty and they did not take many baths because it was a lot of work to get the bath tub set up but the tubs were not the same bath tubs that we think about when we hear bath tub. They would all bathe in the same water not at the same time but they would all bathe in the same water individually. But all of the animals like their dog would go last. So that is how they all bathed like for Sunday if they went to Church, which I don't know if Felicity's family went to Church or not, I do not think that they did. But anyway I had a lot of fun at the program!! Oh and maybe I can tell you about the next program that we will do at the Library!!! Oh and maybe you could try going to that program next month but we will not be able to go to the next one because we are visiting New Hampshire in October because we just moved so yeah we will not be able to got to that one but we will go to the November program.
