Merry Christmas 2016!

 ~Merry Christmas~

Merry Christmas from our family to yours! We had a wonderful Christmas, and we hope you did as well. It's so crazy to think that last Christmas we had just found out that Mom was pregnant with Baxter and Cade. Click here to see last year's Christmas post.
We decided to keep Christmas gifts much more simple this year, because the twins have taken almost all of our time! Our one homemade gift was our breakfast baskets.
I put together a 'Breakfast in Bed' template, and I printed it out onto a little card. Mom made some of her amazing granola, and I made some maple oat nut scones. We bought some biscottis, Starbucks hot chocolate, and chai tea, as well as a small candle and a Christmas ornament.
Lydia's gift to Ethan was the most creative Christmas gift this year, for sure! She crocheted him a 'Dobby,' because Ethan loves Harry Potter. She did an awesome job. Click here to see Lydia's Etsy Shop.
Some of us didn't have Christmas stockings, so I sewed stockings for Mom, Dad, Brandan, Baxter, and Cade. I didn't get pictures of them all, but I'll post them soon.
This year was Baxter and Cade's first Christmas! They loved opening their presents.

Our family tradition is going to the Red Apple Buffet for Christmas dinner.
Merry Christmas!

We're Identical! (Siobhan)

~We're Identical!~

We know the twins look very, very similar, but we are still able to tell them apart. Still, there are moments like these that make us sure they are identical twins!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 (Siobhan)

  ~Thing 1 and Thing 2~

I have gotten so behind on posting pictures of Baxter and Cade here on the blog, so I decided to go through my files and organize them. It is impossible to capture all of the memories we have made with our little guys, but here are some of our favorite pictures from their first several months with us...
Feeding twins is quite the process! These pictures are of their first meal. They were skeptical at first, but now they love their bananas, oatmeal, squash, and applesauce!
Baxter 😄

We have definitely had some weird 'twin moments' like when I went into my room and found the babies in exactly the same position-feet and all!
The twins love playing with each other in their exersaucers
Homeschooling with twins can pretty much be summed up in this picture 😉
I went into Mom's room to check in on the babies in their crib, and this is how I found them:
