Feeding the Birds by Leo
As we proceed through our science, we have done many fun experiments. One of these involved
making suet to attract different bird species to our yard. In doing so, we have recorded those that come frequently and those who are just passing through town. Our frequent comers include the chickadee, the titmouse, the woodpecker, and two birds that we are not sure about.
The suet we made involved bird seed, peanut butter, rolled oats, corn meal, lard, and other bird delicacies. We enjoy helping and protecting wild life and hope to see many more birds.:}
