Our Southern Meal by : Rus
Hi. I am going to tell about our southern meal that we had a few days ago. We were all getting excited because we were going to eat our southern meal. We stayed home on Sunday because almost every one was sick. We listened to a Christmas sermon. Shaila and I were watching a movie and then we came up for our southern meal. We came up and ate something gross called okra. Ethan said it had a texture like an eel. It did. I then tried the candied sweet potatoes. Those tasted like pumpkin fudge! We looked at our plates full of food making our mouth water. We prayed and then tasted all of that tasted delicious food! We had cornbread home made cream corn fried chicken corn bread and candied sweet potatoes. We ate our lunch and dinner in the same meal. And then we had pecan pie. We had to say the right answers to our trivia and the most interesting (I think) was that 40,000 tourists go to Florida. We later watched Frozen. This was one of the best meals ever!
