~F for Fish~
This week's Letter of the Week (LOTW) was Letter F for Fish. Filia loved the activities, as you can see from the pictures below.
This week's memory verse was Isaiah 43:1. I'm still working on figuring out the videos for our blog. Hopefully I will get some videos of Tert and Filia saying their memory verses up soon.
Ff puzzle
Filia's favorite activity is her Do A Dot page
Size Sort
Next Filia did a Cut 'N Paste Page. She also decorated the page with her Do A Dot markers.
So cute!
I haven't posted many pictures of how we sort our LOTW curriculum. At the beginning of the year I always go through and print out the consumable pages for the year and sort through the reusable cutouts (like clip cards, pattern pieces, size sort, etc.) I have them all sorted in plastic bags that are labeled so that I can just pull out the bag with the pieces for each activity. I keep all of the bags in a cardboard box. Filia's letters that go up on the coconut tree are in Tert's desk downstairs by the tree. We have a blue bin where I put all of the papers to file, and I file them in Filia's Pre-K binder.
Fish builders
Color Match
Next we did a Fish Measuring page. Filia marked the fish and then asked me to write out the word FISH so she could copy it down. She loves it when I give her words to write and is doing great with her writing.
