Letter O for Octopus!
We started out our week with cutting. Tert just finished his Kumon Cutting Book ;)
Then we did coloring...
...here is the finished product ;)
Filia joined in from the rocking chair wrapped up in her Tinkerbell comforter from Auntie K ;) Filia is definitely a Tinkerbell girl (hmm...)
Next came the O tracing page. He is getting good at telling the difference between uppercase and lowercase letters.
Poke Page :P
Then we did the puzzle, which he scrambled for Filia, so she won't have an advantage when she does this course ;)
Then came Tert's favorite: lacing!
Completed Lacing Card
Next we did patterns. I tell him the pattern and he is quick to say, "Oh! Green, purple, green, purple..."
Then we did number tracing (and writing)
He loves his cut and paste page, and I have a huge stack of construction paper for him to paste it on.
Nice job!
Then he made an O (sort of :-o) on his geoboard...
Jumping from number to number on his giant floor numbers
Time for Do A Dot page...
Then we did color match. Tert loves this one, and is getting good at color recognition.
Graphing time!
Proud boy!
Then came his Magnet page with his Pom-Pom Magnets :)
Tert loves counting, and this page was a favorite. I had him close his eyes, and I put a certain number of octopuses on the page. Then he found the corresponding number card and put it in the box.
Next came Size Sorting (also a fav.)
Time for Clip Cards
Finally!-it's time for Tert's Chicka Chicka activities ;)
I have started hiding the letter in the book (love his face!)
Next Tert and Filia put letter O up on the coconut tree ;)
Great job Tert!
