LOTW-Letter I for Inchworms With: Stella and Tert

Yes! It's that time again...
Tert has been busier than ever with Preschool. He is a very diligent student, and is learning so much this year...
We started out with the Pledge of Allegiance...

Tracing Page and singing "The I says (ih), the I says (ih), every letter makes a sound, the I says (ih) ;-)
 Puzzle Time
Then we did Uppercase and Lowercase Letter Match
Then he did the Coloring Page, and he practiced some i's on his own ;)
 Lacing time-one of Tert's favorites!
 Nice Tert!
He tapped me on the shoulder and told me to look.  I didn't know what he was talking about until I looked at the bar.  While eating his almonds he had made a letter A with them! Picture-worthy accomplishment for sure!
Next he made a Letter I on the Geoboard
Then we worked on patterns.  He is getting much better at these!
 Then we did Number Tracing
Tert loves this activity! I cut these colored inchworms different ways (crosswise, diagonal, zigzag, etc) and he matched them up.  When he's done he frantically scrambles them up, explaining that he doesn't want it to be too easy for Filia ;-)
Matching...
 Tert loves his Mazes Book
Next we did Number Matching.  The numbered inchworms go up to ten, and he has to match the inchworm with the correct number on it to the number of dots on each leaf :)
Then we did Inchworm Building, which Tert quickly went through...
Next was Graphing.  This is pretty time consuming, so I try to do a lighter day the day we do graphing.
Completed sheet (and very proud boy)
Very concentrated on his Do-A-Dot page (notice the tongue?) :P
Tert loves his cutting! We got the Kumon Cutting workbook.
Counting with Mini Marshmallows (ahem...) He ate them as he counted, "1 (gulp) 2 (gulp) 3..."
Then we did the Inchworm Cut and Paste Page.
He asked me if he could write letters on the page, and of course I said yes!
Next we did the Magnet Page. Now in the previous weeks I hadn't had my magnets and couldn't figure out what to use for this page.  I went onto Erica's site (www.confessionsofahomeschooler.com) and found the instructions on how to make these cute, easy to handle magnets!
Erica used Magnets and a Glue Gun, but we found sticky magnets.  I just peeled the magnet, pushed it onto the pompom, and went through until I ran out of magnets (or pompoms) ;-) This was really simple, and Tert LOVES his new magnets.
 Great Job Tert!
Next Tert did his Poke Page.  He is getting really good at this, and will poke until there is no more room for dots :P

~Stella and Tert~
 Jumping on Giant Floor Numbers
 Tert loves his Pre-Writing
Next Rus taught Tert his Explode the Code.
Filia joined in (sort of)
 We love our Tert!
Next Tert matched his Numbered Inchworms with the correct number of Inchworms.
Size Sorting (also one of Tert's favorites)
Then he did Uppercase and Lowercase Letter Sorting with Jumbo Inchworms
Tert's favorite activity of the week is putting our letter on the Coconut Tree.  He also loves the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Book ;-)
 Great Job this week Tert!
