It's time already! LOTW- Letter E for Elephants is now here :-D
We started out the week with our large floor numbers. Tert is starting to recognize numbers!
Next Filia joined us for a little coloring...
Time for Color-by-Numbers Sheet!
Both of them were very proud!
Then it was time for the Letter E Geoboard Activity. Tert did this one all by himself! Nice job Tert!
~Next it was Do-A-Dot time~
Then it was time for Uppercase/Lowercase Letter Disc Match
Next came patterns :-)
Then he did his poke page...
-Next it was Pre-writing time-
Next we did a Letter E Scavenger Hunt with Rus...
...which was completed with just ONE broken Egg (ahem)
Here is the list of things we found on the Scavenger Hunt: an Elephant, Egg, Eeyore, Eraser, and Envelope!
Next it was time for graphing :-)
I had him graph the color of the elephants in order (blue elephant/blue square, red elephant/red square, etc.)
Next we did color match. I cut the elephants in half and he had to match the colors to find the elephants ;-)
Then we did the Cut 'N Paste Page...
...which he was VERY proud of!
Size Sort :P
Magnet Page (come back next week and I'll post some more about this one)
Then we did Clip Cards with Paperclips
Hmmm....
We ended our week with reading Chicka-Chicka Boom Boom and dashing to the coconut tree...
...where we put up our Letter of the Week :)
Great Job Tert! I look forward to teaching you next week's preschool...I for Inchworms ;)
PS from Mom: I was doing an extra activity with Tert. He was certain that he "couldn't" think of a single word that began with the letter G. After several futile prompts on my part, his eyes lit up, and he said, "I know!! G-G-GILGAMESH!" I guess he has been picking up on some of his Big Sis's Omnibus studies on the side. ;)
