Jack and the Beanstock...
Wow!!! We're on our last week of TOPS Green Thumbs Experiments. The bean plants have grown like crazy on our windowsill. The kids are keeping up with their daily diagrams and journal entries. Today we learned about how plants cells stretch and grow (using a rubber band with lines to illustrate). We had marked our plant stems 2weeks ago and discovered today that bean plants grow from the top while corn plants grow from the bottom. Is that cool or what?
