~Wilton Course 3~
Mom and I recently completed the Wilton Course 3 which was an introduction to gum paste and fondant. We both really enjoyed it and learned so much. We attended four two-hour classes at Joanns in Concord.
We learned how to roll out fondant, form it into bows, leaves, ruffles, borders, and more, including many different flowers like the mums, daisies, roses, and carnations above.
Mom used a variety of flowers (mums, carnations, daisies, and roses) and leaves with a ruffle border on her cake.
I made a two bows, the big bow on the top of the cake and the mini bow in front, a rose, and painted the sides of the cake with icing color.
We are both looking forward to taking Wilton Course 4.
