Mom made her breakfast the night before Mother's Day. (Hey! We were supposed to do that ;) ) She made a huge pan of (chocolate chip) banana bread. It was perfect :-) (Pardon the blurriness of some of these pictures and some of the odd poses; we were all in a flurry getting ready for Sunday School and hurrying to prepare Mother's Day goodies :-) )
After feasting on the bread and placing cards on a breakfast tray, we served Mom breakfast-in-bed. Dad brewed a pot of coffee and Rus went rushing in shouting, "Time for breakfast!"
Mom sat up in bed and was showered with hugs, kisses, and shouts of, "Happy Mother's Day!" She took her tray and ate her bread and opened her cards.
AW!!! Filia snuggled right up to Mom, laying her head on her shoulder :-)
Finally came the present...
