~Back to School~
As I'm sure you've noticed, I have gotten incredibly behind on uploading pictures! This fall has been absolutely packed for our family, and my camera roll is bursting with pictures I haven't uploaded to our blog yet. I finally managed to find a weekend where I am not working or scrambling to study for a major exam to catch up on uploading! I can't quite believe in looking back how much we have fit in with school, Owen's arrival, sports, Co-Op, and church events! It is sometimes crazy trying to juggle so many different stages of life, and there is never a dull moment around here...
Mom, Connor, Shaila, Brandan, Baxter, and Cade have been going to Lindsey Lane Co-Op this year. The kids have loved their classes, and the twins have had so much fun participating in their preschool activities. Aidan has taken advantage of the times on Tuesday while they are at Co-Op to catch up on school. His basketball schedule keeps him very busy with practices and games a few times a week. He is also on our church's Bible Quizzing Team and has been working on memorizing the entire book of Hebrews with his team!
This year the twins are in Preschool, Brandan is in 1st grade, Shaila is in 4th grade, Connor is in 6th grade, Aidan is in 9th grade, Ethan is a freshman at UAH, and I am a junior at UAH.
This fall I started nursing school at UAH! It made me very sad to leave Covenant, but it has been so wonderful to be able to finally get started on nursing classes. I took three online classes this past summer to finish my prerequisites, so now I just have nursing classes left! This semester I am taking patho, health assessment, informatics, clinical calculations, and concepts.
Finding a supportive group of study partners has been invaluable for me! I couldn't make it through nursing school without my friends and lab partners!
Whether it is collecting bugs, doing chemistry experiments, baking bread, or playing with Ooblek, there is always something happening in our kitchen!
We have had a great start to our school year and hope you have too!
