If I lived in Ancient times, I would miss my basketball. I would miss it because it is a fun and challenging
sport. When I use my basketball, I like
trying new skills. I enjoy baffling the defense when I
dribble behind my back or through my legs.
Repeatedly, I practice until I succeed. I speedily dribble the ball to make a
layup. When I do, I feel
elated. In ancient times, I would
have to box and wrestle etc. I would
also be forced to engage in strenuous sports every day. I am greatly relieved that I don’t live in ancient times, because
I would miss my basketball.
If I lived in ancient times, I would miss my Ripstick. I would miss it because it is an enjoyable
mode of transportation. When I use my
ripstick, I always attempt new stunts.
Relentlessly, I practice jumping like a rabbit over serpentine cracks running through
the road. When I do succeed I feel
proud. In ancient times, I would
have to ride in dusty, crowded chariot races.
These races were extremely dangerous and cheating was
involved. I am thankful that I don’t live in ancient times because
I would miss my ripstick.
If I lived in ancient times I would miss my BB gun. I would miss it because it is a fun
hobby. When I use my gun, I fire
it in different postures. Carefully,
I draw back the trigger and deftly knock over the targets. In Ancient times, I would use a rough wooden
bow, which is much less accurate.
I am thankful that I don’t live in ancient
times because I would
miss my BB gun.
I could not
survive in ancient times because I would not have my Basketball, Ripstick, and
BB gun.
