This year our Father's Day was definitely exciting! Mom and the twins came home from the hospital that Sunday. Dad's biggest Father's Day presents were Baxter and Cade. We had a quiet evening and enjoyed snuggling the babies and eating pieces of Dad's homemade carrot cake, which was his Father's Day cake as well as his birthday cake. :)

Father's Day/Dad's Birthday 2015 By: Siobhan

Happy Father's Day to all of the amazing dads out there, and a special Happy Birthday to Dad! Dad's birthday fell on the day before Father's Day, so we had two days of special activities with him. 

Dad's birthday started out with a special birthday breakfast with Adam. Then we headed to Beech Hill Farm and Ice Cream Barn. Later that evening Mom made a delicious birthday dinner for Dad.

 Raspberry Feta Salad with Toasted Almonds and Dried Cranberries

 Beef Bourguignon over mashed potatoes...

 ...with Green Beans Gremolata and fresh corn

 For dessert we had Chocolate Chip Cheesecake

Father's Day/Dad's Birthday 2013 By: Stella

Hello Everyone.
We had a lot of fun celebrating Father's Day and Dad's birthday! We celebrated both on Sunday (Father's Day) because we had cake decorating on Dad's actual birthday.
Mom made a wonderful lunch. We had beef bourguignon as the main dish.

For dessert we went to Beech Hill Farm and Ice Cream Barn with Grandma Z., Adam, Steph, and the Cahills

 We also had a wonderful time visiting Grandma and Grandpa P. and Uncle Ron. Grandma made Dad a delicious birthday cake and Tert was happy to help blow out the candles.

 The boys licked each candle clean :)

For Father's Day and Dad's birthday we got him a new bike (see pic. below) sneakers, a movie, a book and a few other things from the little kids that they bought at the dollar store ;)
