~Summer in Quarantine~
Summer in quarantine has looked different for us this year, but it has been very full and very fun! This is a scattered collection of pictures, but I love how they capture some of the amazing memories we have made so far :)
Strawberry Picking!
Days at the Creek
This summer we have done so many fun craft projects. Shaila, Mom and I tried quilling for the first time. We all loved it, and Shaila especially has enjoyed trying all different kinds of cards and jewelry.
Our library has had weekly craft kits that I have picked up for the twins and Brandan. They have loved them! One of their favorites were these sprout houses. They sprouted beans, and they grew into amazing plants!
Our wall of artwork is filling up!
Family Day at Burritt on the Mountain
Park Days! Owen loved waving at all the ducks :)
Shaila and Dad had a special at home "Daddy-Daughter Date Night!" Chick-Fil-A set up the event and had princesses visit in limos with crafts for the girls and their dads. They enjoyed some yummy sandwiches and cookies too!
Baxter and Cade are best buddies as always! They do everything together. It's hard to believe they turned four last month.
Owen has grown up so much too. He loves eating real food and will take a slice of lemon blueberry thyme bread over a container of sweet potatoes or applesauce any day!
Mom's laundry "helper"
Blueberry Picking in the Rain :)
We all loved our hike to Dismal Canyon. It is called Dismal Canyon because of the glowing blue "dismalite" bugs that light it up at night. We saw some on our walk, and they were very cool!
We've had a very full and busy summer so far! I hope you are all staying safe and healthy. We are living in a crazy world, but we are so thankful for the time we have had together as a family and for the wonderful memories we have made!
