Aidan's three favorite parts of his summer: By Rus

Hi! I'm Rus. I had a really fun summer and I would like to tell you the three biggest and most fun events in my summer. The first event was the birth of my twin brothers. I went with Grandma, Siobhan, Ethan, Connor, Shaila, and Brandan, to Lindsey's graduation party. After that we went to the hospital. I read The Princess and the Goblin on the way. We met Mom and Dad at the hospital. We all held Baxter and Cade, watched volleyball, and ate ice cream. I got cookies and cream. We visited multiple times. We had trouble telling them apart. The only way we could tell them apart was by their hair, and Cade was a little bit bigger than Baxter. Everyone was very excited when they came home. We made a big banner for Dad because he came home with Mom, Baxter, and Cade on Father's day. We have had so much fun with Baxter and Cade!
Another one of my favorite events was swim team. I started with swimming lessons which helped get me ready for swim team. I passed the level I was in. After my swimming lessons Shaila did her lessons. During Shaila's lessons Connor and I played with our friend. We did lots of games together. I went to swim team with Ethan in the afternoon. We always started the lesson with lots of laps. I always got really tired after the laps, but they were still fun. We practiced lots of strokes. We always ended the swim meet with a game. On the last day of swim team we went to the swimming competition. Our team got second place! I loved being on the Rolfe swim team. Go Rolfe!
The last one of my favorite events was baseball. My team was Stone Hill Landscaping. My coach was really nice. This was my first year of minor leagues baseball. One of the big differences was that I was pitched to by other kids instead of the coach. I had a hard time telling whether the pitches were good or bad. On this team I got the most home runs I have ever gotten in one season. Once I got three points from my home run. The last game we played we would have lost if it weren't for one triple. We got second place of all of the other teams. I loved playing baseball this year.
This summer has been really fun and I can't wait to see what the next one will be like.
