Valentine's Day and My Birthday By: Siobhan

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! I am doing a combo post of pictures from Valentine's Day and my birthday. Enjoy!

 We woke up to a 'winter wonderland' on Valentine's Day. We had a huge storm the night before, and we geared up for a lot of shoveling.

 We got an amazing deal at Michael's on their Valentine's Day crafts. We went the weekend before Valentine's Day and everything was on clearance already! There was still a pretty good selection, and with a coupon I got the kit we bought from $8.99 to $2.85!

 The day after Valentine's Day was my 14th birthday. E slept over the night before, and we woke up to a delicious breakfast of eggs, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, sausage and smoothies.

 I got beautiful birthday cards, e-cards and birthday wishes :)

Mom and I went out to Smoke Shack with a gift card we had received last Christmas. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves!

 In the afternoon I went to Laconia Pet Center with Dad, where we got a parakeet.

 We got a male (since he is more likely to talk) and I named him Schatzi, which is German for 'sweetheart' because I got him around Valentine's Day!

 Mom made an incredible spread for supper.

 Mozzarella sticks, homemade stuffed shells and fresh salad.



 For dessert Mom made an incredible chocolate tall cake with many layers of cake, cool whip, homemade chocolate mousse, hot fudge, caramel sauce, Oreos, whipped cream and caramel ice cream! Adam and Steph were glad to help us eat it :)
