Usually we do our garden on Memorial Day weekend, but as you have seen in the previous posts-that's all done! :-) (If you haven't seen the garden post then scroll down on the blog homepage and if you still don't see it click Older Posts)
Anyway-we started out the day by waking to a painted kitchen and a bit of a mess :-P
There is the color! We are really excited as it was hard to find a color that would correspond with our pink counters. The color on the wall is a touch darker than the counters, and the border above the walls (already there!) works perfectly with it. All in all-a successful beginning to our Memorial Day!

*Extra Note: Not to do with the painting-but this was a little added touch to our kitchen. The pots and pans from Mother's Day didn't quite fit in our cupboards, so Dad went out and bought this pots- 'n- pans-holder!
Now for our supper...
This centerpiece is all of fake flowers--I must admit!--but they all mark special occasions! The recent additions are the large purple and yellow ones from this Memorial Day :-)
MENU:
Corn on the Cob
Fresh FruitDorito Cool Ranch Chips (Family Favorite :-) )
Coleslaw
Potato Salad
Sweet Potato Fries
...AND! The Main Course:
Chocolate Pudding Pie
Filia came to the table-ready to eat-plate in hand!
What on earth am I supposed to do with this?
Let's try eating it with a fork...
Rus came ready to eat too! Leo was rather alarmed at his apparel, (note the shirt! :P) but he apparently believes that it is just right...
Here comes Tert!
Oh all right!
Filia personally like the chocolate pie.
Happy Memorial Day!
