Our family has grown by several chickens! We finally took the plunge and got chicks. By far Brandan has been the most faithful with feeding them, watering them, and researching all the best scraps to give them. We wouldn't be surprised if he has a farm some day :)

Soccer fun...

Definitely not sweet, but certainly memorable!! One of the biggest challenges this year was not having a kitchen for sixteen weeks. Our dishwasher flooded, so we had to have our floors, cupboards, basement, and bathroom remodeled. It was a massive project, but we were incredibly thankful that insurance covered it and for the generosity of our family and friends in providing meals for us.

Mom has done such a wonderful job with her business this year! We sold at the Wise Ant General Store, Providence Market, Athens Saturday Market, and a couple of Piper and Leaf Markets. We are now offering free local delivery to the Huntsville and Athens area. Thank you all so much for supporting our family business!

Baxter and Cade, how is it possible that you are already 5?! It seems like just yesterday that we were praying for you and received double the surprise and joy at seeing two healthy heartbeats on your first ultrasound. You two have '"done life together" since the very beginning, and you have been inseparable ever since. The special bond you have is such a treasure, and I pray that your complete, total love and friendship with each other never goes away

Baxter, your fierce determination and devotion are incredible!! Once you set your mind to something there is no getting in your way. Cade, your laid back nature, sweet smile and contagious laughter perfectly balance out your brother's strong spirit! I cannot imagine life without either one of you. You are the sweetest five year olds I know, and I hope your day is fantastic!! Happy, happy birthday, dear boys!!!

Baxter and Cade's big birthday gift was a trip to Cheekwood Gardens in Nashville, TN to see a huge lego display. They loved it and were so excited to come home to a new lego table so they can make their own creations!

Baxter and Cade were so excited to find out that they share a birthday with a very special friend of ours! They made a cake for Miss Anna and exchanged presents with her.

Baxter and Cade's favorite presents were their new bikes. They learned how to ride without training wheels after just a few practice runs!
