We learned how to make pizza at a pizza restaurant! We got a tour of what's in the kitchen. There was a fridge, and we went inside of it. There were some things that weren't quite made yet. One of the fridges had pizza dough. The pizza moved into the oven. My friends and I got to make pizza by ourselves, and we had soda. There was pepperoni, cheese, and sauce. We got to eat our pizza, and it tasted AMAZING. Now we know how to make pizza. My friends and I had fun.

Rus Reports on the Most Delicious Science Experiment of the Year (except for the cell, he says)
Hi! I'm Rus. We did a science experiment on vitamins. It was very fun. We made creamy tuna fish casserole, maple glazed carrots, nutty buttery green beans and we bot bread. The casserole had vitamin A and D. The carrots had a lot of vitamin A. The nutty green beans had vitamin C and good fats. And finally the rolls had vitamin B. Vitamins are good because they make are body healthy and strong.

The boys did a meal packed with vitamins, minerals, (and yumminess) for a science project. They had a blast, and it was delicious. They took their recipes out of the Emeril Cookbook There's a Chef in My Soup!
They used fresh cow's milk to make the tuna casserole
Tert and Rus had a lot of fun making the sauce

survival class field trip by Rus, age 8
On Wednesday Leo, Dad and I went on a field trip to a place were they taught us how to survive in the wilderness without any help. First they taught us how to use a map. Then they taught us how to use a compose. Then they taught us how to use both. then they tested are map reading skills by having us find markers. Then we came back to have snack. Then we hiked up and sat down and talked about how to make safe fires. These are some help full tips if you get lost in a wilderness and you need heat. First find an area away dry leafs. Then make a ditch or circle of rocks. And always have a source of water if the fire gets out of control or if you touch a flame. Then get some wood and put them in the ditch or the circle of rocks. But when you put the wood in always let air be able to flow under or in between the wood. You also can use fire pits too make a distress signal by putting three fires together. or you can use a gun. What you would do is shoot three times then pause then shoot another three times and pause then shoot another three times and pause. And the last thing is making a shelter. If there is a storm coming a shelter is a good thing to have. First you have to make sure that the shelter will protect you from the environments. Your shelter needs to be sturdy and has lots of space. We made shelters ourselves. These rules many people forget but they are the only way you can survive in the wild with no one to help.
